Authorities of the University:    

The Court, the Executive Council, the Academic Council, the College Development Council, the School Boards and the Finance Committee comprise the authorities of the University.

Administrative Structure:

His Excellency, the President of India, is the Ex-Officio Visitor of the University and His Excellency, the Governor of Manipur, is the Ex-Officio Chief Rector. The Chancellor is the Chairman of the Court of the University, and the Vice-Chancellor as the principal executive and academic officer of the University is the Chairman of the Executive Council, the Academic Council,the College Development Council and various other Statutory Bodies of the University.

The Vice-Chancellor is assisted by the following officials in transacting the normal academic and Administrative works of the University:

A. Pro Vice-Chancellor

B. Academic : (i) Dean, School of Science

                      (ii) Dean, School of Humanities 

                     (iii) Dean, School of Social Sciences

                     (iv) Dean, School of  Medical Sciences 

1. Registrar

2. Finance Officer

3. Controller of Examinations

4. Librarian

5. Such other Officers as may be declared by the Statutes to be the Officers of the University.

The Registrar is the Secretary of the Court, the Executive Council and the Academic Council. The Registrar is assisted by Deputy Registrars and Assistant Registrars.
