Dr. Khumukcham Robindro Singh received his Master’s degree in Computer Application from Manipur University, Imphal, in the year 2007 and was awarded his Ph.D. from Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, in the year 2013. With approximately 12 years of professional experience, he is currently serving as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science at Manipur University, Imphal - a Central University of India. Dr. Singh is also the Chairman of the e-Office Implementation Committee, where he is actively spearheading the university’s digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, he has frequently served on the College Inspection Team of the university and has been appointed as the Nodal Officer of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Cell, Manipur University. A sought-after speaker, Dr. Singh has been invited by several departments within and outside the university to deliver expert talks on Artificial Intelligence and its applications. He has published around 15 research articles in reputed SCIE/Scopus-indexed international journals, over 15 papers in conference proceedings/book chapters. Under his guidance, 2 Ph.D. scholars have successfully completed their research, and he has mentored more than 30 MCA major project theses. Dr. Singh has completed a major research project in collaboration with IIT Guwahati and Tezpur University, funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. He has also organized two National Workshops on High Performance Computing in collaboration with CDAC Pune and IIT Kharagpur, under the National Supercomputing Mission. He also organized an International Conference titled “North East India AI Summit: Unravelling Trends (NEIAIS 2025) with the financial support from North Eastern Council (NEC) Shillong, Government of India. He serves as a reviewer for several reputed international journals, and his primary research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

Dr. Khumukcham Robindro Singh was invited as an honourable speaker for a seminar on Artificial Intelligence for Youths: Exploring Opportunities, Mitigating Risks organized by Akashvani Imphal on 18th January 2025 at MIMS, Manipur University.
Dr. Khumukcham Robindro Singh was requested to contribute to the XLIV State Level Students’ Science Seminar 2024 on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Potentials & Concerns”, scheduled for 18th November 2024, with the national seminar to follow on 26th November 2024; he was also asked to submit questions by 6th November 2024.
Dr. Khumukcham Robindro Singh was invited on December 15, 2022, to deliver an invited talk at the One Day Faculty Development Programme on “ICT in Teaching Learning Management” scheduled for December 17, 2022, at Shree Shree Gourgoobind Girls' College, Imphal East.
