NSS observed GANGHI JAYANTI 2021

MANIPUR UNIVERSITY, 2/10/2021: The NSS-Cell, Manipur University along with NSS Unit-I and NSS Unit-II, Manipur University observed 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi at the Manipur University Campus. Around 100 NSS volunteers from two Units participated the said cleaning program. During the program, State liaison Officer Mr. Feroz Khan, State NSS Cell- Coordinator Dr. M. Nodiyachand Singh and MU. NSS Program Officers Dr. S Sunil Singh and Dr.M Macha Chaoreikanba, were also participated. Along with cleanliness activities in and around the campus NSS volunteers also visited one of the important nearby historical site located inside the campus i.e. Old Temple on hill of Canchipur palace and interacted with the resource persons. Volunteers also pledge on Swacchata/ Acta and conducted on spot extempore competition on the topic “Be the change you want to see in the world-by MK Gandhi” and winner volunteers were distributed with nominal cash prizes.
