Brief Bio-Sketch:
Dr. Khwairakpam Romesh Singh is from Forestry background. He did his M.Sc. Forestry from Dr. B.R Ambedkar University, Agra U.P in 2005 and Ph. D from Assam University, Silchar in 2015. During his pre Ph. D career he worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Institute Of Bioresources And Sustainable Development (IBSD), Takyelpat, Imphal, Manipur. Not only taking classes of PG students he is also assigned as a supervisor and co-supervisor of many M.Sc Dissertation. Besides he is assigned as a teacher in-charge of educational visits and tours. He has experience on handling GPS, RS and GIS software. He has also field experience on sampling techniques, photography, sample collections etc.
Ph. D Topic: Mapping and Quantitative Assessment of vegetation of Jiribam Sub-Division , Imphal East District, Manipur, India by using Remote Sensing and GIS techniques.
