Manipur University, 20/5/2024: The Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development, Manipur University, organized the inaugural function of the 7-day Tally Prime training program conducted by Tally Academy Imphal, MI-4, on May 20th, 2024. The program is scheduled to run from May 20th to May 26th, 2024.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by:
1. Prof. Th. Purnima Devi, Head, Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development
2. Dr. Nambram Amulkumar, Course Coordinator, DVSSD, MU
3. Mr. Thounaojam Jeevanchandra, Managing Partner of MI4 Departmental Stores, Mangall Infotech Endeavor, and Tally Academy Imphal
The training program has been conducted for students from the 4th Semester M.Voc in Entrepreneurship & Foreign Trade and Tourism & Hospitality Management courses.
The event was organized to provide the students with hands-on training and practical experience in using the Tally Prime accounting software. This training program aims to enhance the students' employability and equip them with the necessary skills to succeed in the field of accounting and financial management.
During the inaugural function, the dignitaries expressed their enthusiasm for the program and emphasized the importance of such skill-based training initiatives in preparing the students for the job market.
