Manipur University 30/09/2022: A Three Day Training Program on “Export Documentation, Procedures, and Global Supply Chain” was held during 28-30 September 2022, organised by the Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development, Manipur University, Imphal, formerly CESD, Manipur University in collaboration with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) Kolkata, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) Guwahati and Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) Kolkata.
There were altogether 50 participants registered in the programme, among which 15 were budding/prospective entrepreneurs, six were nominated by DC Imphal East, 1 was nominated by DC Bishnupur District, 16 of them were students and 12 faculty members from our University.
The programme was started with an inaugural function on 28 Sept. 2022 at 9:30 am, and it was inaugurated by our Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Manipur University, Prof. N. Lokendra Singh, in the presence of Mr Amit Sharma, Joint Director General, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Kolkata, Mr Kaushik Dutta, NE Head, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), NE Chapter, Guwahati, Prof. L. Prabhakar, Director, Manipur Institute of Management Studies, Manipur University and Prof. Ch. Ibohal Meitei, Head, DVSSD, Manipur University as dias members.
There were 13 sessions in this 3-day Training programme conducted by nine eminent resource persons from different parts of the country covering a different areas of topics relating to export import, its procedures, documentation and supply chain. The 3-Day programme concluded with a humble valedictory function after completing all sessions on 30 Sept. 2022 at 3:30 PM. The following persons graced the valedictory function as Chief Guest, Guests of Honours and President, respectively.
