Manipur University 18/03/2021: Programme on “Brewing Bio Entrepreneurships in Manipur” was inaugurated on 18th March, 2021 at MIMS Auditorium, Manipur University. The Programme was jointly organised by Centre for Entrepreneurship and Skill Development (School of Social Sciences, Manipur University) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University (KIIT-TBI) Bhubaneswar and will be held from 18th to 20th March, 2021.

Prof. S. Sanatombi Singha (Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Manipur University) , Prof. S. Mangi Singh (Dean, School of Social Science, Manipur University), Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar (CEO, KIIT-TBI, Bhubaneswar), Prof. L. Prabhakar Singh (Director of Manipur Institute Management Study, (MIMS) Manipur University) and Prof. N. Rajmuhon Singh (Dept. of Chemistry, MU) have graced the inaugural function as Chief Guest, President, Guest of honour and keynote speaker respectively. Prof. S. Sanatombi Singha expressed Brewing Bio-entrepreneurship in Manipur shall definitely give the awareness of entrepreneurship potentials in Manipur especially in the area of Bio-resources and it will contributes a lot to employment generation and helps in the socio-economic development. The technical session was started after the inaugural function at 11:30 AM.
In another news, MOU Signing Ceremony was conducted on 17 March 2021 between Manipur University and KIIT Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI),Birac Regional Techno-Entrepreneurship Centre(BRTC), Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology(KIIT) University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha at the Committee Room of the Vice Chancellor's Secretariat, Manipur University. Members present from Manipur University are Prof. S. Sanatombi Singha (Vice Chancellor, Manipur University), Prof. W. Chandbabu Singh (Registrar, Manipur University), Prof. Ch Ibohal Meitei (Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Skill Development, Manipur University), Dr R.K. Joteen Singh (Deputy Registrar, Administration, Manipur University) etc
