Manipur University, 18/1/2024: Manipur University and Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhisigned a Memorandum of Understanding on 18 January 2024 at New Delhi. As per the MoU, Manipur University and RIS will jointly conduct research on mutually agreed areas, publish and share information. The MoU highlights that the Centre for Myanmar Studies, Manipur University will also jointly work with RIS, New Delhi in the field of research and publication on India-Myanmar Relations. The Memorandum of Understanding is jointly signed by Professor w Chandbabu Singh, Registrar, Manipur University on behalf of Manipur University and Professor Sachin Chaturvedi, Director General, RiS, New Delhi on behalf of Research and Information Service for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi in presence of Professor MCArunkumar, Director, Centre for Myanmar Studies, Manipur University. The Manipur University signs this MoU under the abled guidance and constant advice of Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Naorem Lokendra Singh, Manipur University. The Memorandum was initiated by Honorable MoS, Dr RK Ranjan, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
