Manipur University observed 70th International Human Rights Day, with the theme "Let's stand up for equality, justice and human dignity". The observation was jointly organized by Centre for Human Rights & Duties Education and Department of Law.
Former VC, Prof HNK Sarma as Cheif Guest, Prof W Nabakumar Singh as Guest of Honour and Prof N Lokendra Singh (Dean, School of Social Science) as President of the observation function.
Former VC, Prof. HNK Sarma say, All Human being are with human rights after he or she was born, According to law all human being have no different. So, Center for Human Rights and Duties Education offer Diploma and Certificate Courses. The center have also completed 4 years for Diploma courses in human rights and 10 years for Certificate courses.
During the observation function, Center for Human Rights and Duties Education also published a wall calender.
