Manipur University, February 10, 2025 – Manipur University (MU), in collaboration with the Department of Personnel and Training, MU, organized an orientation programme on the iGOT Karmayogi Platform on February 10, 2025, at the Court Hall of the University. The programme aimed to create awareness about the iGOT Karmayogi Platform among non-teaching employees, equipping them with the necessary skills to tackle challenges in today's evolving work environment.
Introductory Address: In his introductory speech, Punsiba Toijam, Assistant Registrar and Nodal Officer, iGOT Karmayogi Platform, highlighted the role of the iGOT Karmayogi Platform in enhancing efficiency in today's technology-driven workplace. He encouraged university employees to embrace change through upskilling and training, enabling them to compete with premier institutions.
Registrar’s Address: Delivering an insightful speech, Prof. W. Chandbabu Singh, Registrar, Manipur University, elaborated on the iGOT Karmayogi Platform as a government initiative designed to provide online and offline training opportunities at the workplace. He emphasized the importance of knowledge, attitude, skills, and habits (KASH) in today’s global workforce and urged non-teaching staff to develop a habit of continuous learning to enhance their productivity and adaptability in the modern workplace ecosystem.
He further underscored the importance of a technology-driven work environment and expressed his keen interest in launching an e-office system to streamline administrative processes at the university.
Guest of Honour’s Address: Speaking as the Guest of Honour, Shri Tokpam Shantikumar Singh, Controller of Examinations, Manipur University, encouraged participants to take full advantage of the iGOT Karmayogi Platform, which has been empowering government employees since its inception.
iGOT (Integrated Government Online Training) is a digital learning platform designed for government employees to enhance their learning and development throughout their careers. It offers comprehensive training modules to improve workplace efficiency and performance.
