Manipur University, 7-4-2025: Manipur University is proud to announce that it has bagged the Single Special Appreciation Consolation Prize at the 3rd Association of Indian Universities (AIU) National Women Student Parliament 2024–25 held under the theme “Empowering Voices, Shaping Futures: Vikshit Bharat.” The prestigious event witnessed participation from 27 universities across the country, and Manipur University stood out with its impactful presence and contributions. The event was held at Centurion University, Odisha from 02–04 April 2025.

In a moment of pride, the Special Memento received at the event was formally handed over to Prof. N. Lokendra Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Manipur University; Prof. Ch. Ibohal Singh, Dean of Students’ Welfare (DSW), MU; and Dr. RK Suresh Singh, Cultural Coordinator, MU.

The memento was presented by Dr. Koijam Sobita Devi, Faculty Member, Department of Teacher Education, and Team Manager representing Manipur University at the event, along with the participating team members:
