Manipur University, January 15, 2025 – Manipur University (MU), Imphal, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) - Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat, on January 15, 2025, at Imphal, Manipur.
The MoU was signed by Prof. W. Chandbabu Singh, Registrar, Manipur University, and Dr. Nitin Kulkarni, Director, ICFRE-RFRI. This agreement aims to strengthen scientific and technical cooperation and explore opportunities for collaboration in research, academics, and extension activities that benefit society through technological interventions and innovations.
The MoU is expected to foster friendly cooperation and promote sustainable, productive research collaboration in areas of mutual interest. Dr. Nitin Kulkarni emphasized the importance of identifying potential areas for collaborative projects and implementing student exchange programs for mutual benefit, ultimately contributing to societal well-being.
