MU, 11/12/2019: Manipur University in collaboration with Nematological Society of India, New Delhi and Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi have organised 4 days National Symposium on "Nematodes: A Threat to Food Security and Farmers' Livelihood", 11-13 December 2019.
Inaugural function was conducted on Wednesday, the 11th December, 2019 at 10.00 A.M. at Senate Hall, Earth Sciences Building, Manipur University, Canchipur.
Shri Jarnail Singh (Vice-Chancellor, MU), Dr. Pankaj (Vice-President, The Nematological Society of India), Dr. Anil Sirohi (General Secretary, NSI), Prof. G.A. Shantibala Devi (Dean, School of Life Sciences, MU), Prof. R.K. Gambhir Singh (Local Organising Secretary) and Prof. N Mohilal Meitei (Local Organising Secretary) have graced the inaugural function as Chief Guest, Guest of Honours and President respectively.
