Manipur University Guest House

Manipur University has a Guest House near the main gate in its main campus at Canchipur. It is divided into two blocks : Block A and B. At present, there are 22 rooms usable in block A, of which 7 are double bedded VIP rooms. Block B has at present 62 usable rooms, of which 2 are VIP rooms & 12 are special ones. A catering service  in block A ground floor looks after the comfort of the guests and provides simple meals.

Free lodging shall be provided to the followings : External examiners for Ph.D. and University Examinations; Invited Visiting Faculty ( as evidenced by Official letter from the Office of the Registrar, MU). However, Catering charges shall be collected from them.

Those coming for Official purposes as evidenced by recommendations of the University Authority but are not included as University Guests or external experts for examinations shall pay the following rates:
